Co-host Application

As I mentioned on the show, I am looking for a co-host for Secular Left. Please fill out the form below and I will get in touch with you.

Here are some considerations before submitting an application:

Secular Left tries to publish twice a month but we are looking to expand to hopefully three or four times a month. Applicants should have the time to help produce the show when needed.
A co-host would assist in deciding what content to have on the show but the producer would have the final say.
Secular Left has a secular progressive view point that supports separation of church and state and social justice. Secular Left will not give a platform to anyone who opposes that view point. The focus of the show is to express our view point and not have a debate. The show doesn’t exist just to give a platform to say controversial things. A co-host will be on the same page as the other host even if they get to the same place by different methods.
Bashing the religious is boring but bashing religious structures like the Catholic church or televangelists is okay. People can make poor decisions and we shouldn’t pile on them for doing so but the Pope and Joel Osteens of the world should know better.
Be prepared to provide samples of your work. If you have previous podcasting host experience then provide a sample of your work or record a 2 or 3 minute story showcasing your hosting ability.
