There are some cheap labor conservatives who like to display their religious beliefs on their sleeve. I didn’t know this but Jesus was also a cheap labor conservative. That makes sense. But then The Rev. Sir Dr. Stephen T. Colbert, D.F.A. set me straight. Jesus was a dirty liberal Democrat.

One of the most ridiculous stories that comes up when talking about separation of church and state is the constant complaints of Christian persecution from right wingers. Gary Bauer, president of American Values and chairman of the Campaign for Working Families and a failed US Presidential candidate, tries hard to claim that Christians are hurt more than Muslims in this country.
It seems that hate group Family Research Council and Concerned Women for America have pulled out of the upcoming Conservative Political Action Conference because a gay conservative group will be participating. What a shocker…
I think if the new Congress holds hearings on the ‘Radicalization’ Of American Muslims then they also need to include the radicalization of so-called Patriots like Jim David Adkisson, Byron Williams, Scott Roeder, and Richard Poplawski among others.
The Southern Poverty Law Center added our “friends” the Family Research Council to their list of hate groups for their stance and comments concerning gay rights. What took them so long to do it? The comments are just plain ignorant and hateful.
A recent article by Joel Connelly for Seattlepi.Com touched on a surprising target in Sarah Palin’s new book – President John F. Kennedy. It seems Sister Sarah complains about JFK’s famous speech given to the Greater Houston Ministerial Association. It seems Palin would have fit in very well back then just as she currently questions the religious beliefs of our current President. JFK’s words make the same point they did in 1960. Too bad she fails to see the point.
